New Hampshire Queen Anne Highboy Base - Lot #: 209

In maple with white pine secondary wood, replaced thumb molded overhanging top over single overlapping dovetailed drawer over three overlapping dovetailed drawers with central having fine quadruple fan carving, over nice scroll cut-out apron in which are two overlapping dovetailed drawers, all with replaced brass Chinese Chippendale style brass backplates and bales, Front apron with matching fan carving over two dropped carved rosettes, solid ends with scroll cut-out aprons, 37 x 20 x 37" high. Typical of the style seen in Chester & Salisbury Counties, New Hampshire and similar to those made by the Dunlap family of cabinetmakers.
Condition: As above, old refinish, Fine.
