Penn. Chippendale Tall Case Clock - Lot #: 134

cherry, bonnet having broken arch top with flower carved rosettes and dental molding, and large central spiral turned finial, tombstone side lights, full spiral turned columns with Prince of Wales Feather carved capitals; case waste with cove molded top, flat canted and fluted corners with lambs tough terminals, tombstone form overlapping door with relief shell carving at top and intaglio carved panel below with vining bell flowers; base with cove molding at top and ogee bracket feet, white pine secondary wood, 21.5 x 10.5 x 96.5" high with finial, in old cleaned finish. The dial is painted steel with Roman numerals and second hand dial above and date dial below hands with landscape painting above and gilt scroll work. The works are an English bell strike, weight driven movement with calendar dial.
Condition: Old refinish and some expected wear with a couple of holes to cover, missing glass door, glass door on side cracked
