This piece has carved goose neck crown molding with panel below veneered with ebony with satinwood leaves and ebony and satinwood cross banding along bottom Missing front door, which is flanked by quarter columns with turned capitals and bases, with wider base with cove molded edge and one drawer, with burl, satinwood and ebony banding and original brass bat wing back plate engraved "Eliz.th Yates/1739" with bale handle over bracket feet. The interior has central well with arch top, flanked by quarter fluted columns with urn form finials with fluted caps, flanked by three cubby holes on each side, over three drawers, over two drawers. Various secondary woods. The interior pulls appear to be turned black horn (2 missing), 19.5 x 10 x 28.5" high, in old likely original varnish finish.
Condition: As above and minor repairs to drawers.
