Incredible and rare sterling wall plaque marked Gorham and #4870 twice, dating it to 1900. Please note Gorham did not start marking Martele until 1906 and this is believed to be early Martele. Twelve precious stones and eight small turquoise stones. Center enamel plaque has courting couples at outdoor luncheon. Four small plaques with courting couples and four small cherub plaques. New York 925/1000 Set comprised of coffee pot, tea pot, hot water pot on stand, covered sugar, creamer, and waste bowl. Each with handsome strap work monogram and each Victorian Renaissance floral pattern to all sides. Etched Greek Key pattern to lids. Each piece resting on fluted base. Stand has scrolled legs with etched medallions resting on Greek Key feet. Each lid has Spartan helmet finial, braded handles surmounted by Renaissance busts.
